First of all, Go to Yoast SEO Titles & Meta’s option and Clicks On Homepage option. Here you can see different variables. Seems Like
Here you can see different variables. Seems Like
%%sitename%% %%sep%% %%sitedesc%%

Your Site Title Separator(-,*) Your Site Description
It’s mean you are using website title, separator and description which is too long, as a result, search engines drop the page which has a long title. Therefore you need just these variables for your website home page: %%sitename%% %%page%%
These variables are proper for search engines on the website’s home page.
Website Home Page Meta Description
Describe more detail about your web site in the meta description box and you need to remove
tagline from WordPress >setting>general
Post Type Meta Tags:
The second option is the Post Type. It is an important option for Posts, Pages, and categories title. From this option, you can use meta robots tags. I think, If your website is new then don’t use Noopd robot. Actually, Noopd robot prevents search engines using information from open project directories and forced to use information from the pages meta description. This robot is used on your website as a default setting. If you don’t want to use a Noodp robot then you cannot disable this robot from here.
Go to install plugins option and click on Yoast SEO plugin edit link and open class-frontend.php . In class-frontend.php file go to line number 1877 you will see a code like this
if ( ! ( empty( $description ) ) && $this->options[‘noodp’] === false ) {
$this->options[‘noodp’] = true;
}
In this code just you need to write false instead of true and save it.
Posts and Pages Variables
Another option of Yoast SEO is posts and page variables. In this field use variables seems like this:
%%title%%%%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%
These variables mean you are using post or page title and your website title, don’t remove your website title variable.
Taxonomies setting
This option has categories and WordPress tags set. From here you can use index and no index robots for categories and WordPress tags. You need to use noindex robot for categories and WordPress tags. If you are using index meta tag then this robot creates duplicate posts links. For example, your original post link is
www.computerandmobile.com/how-to-for-wordpress/
If the meta index robot is using for categories and tags, then a duplicate link will be created like this:
www.computerandmobile.com/category/how-for-wordpress/
Format Option
Archives and Others:
Archives option has Author archives and Date-based archives.
Author Archives: Disabled and meta robots noindex
Date-based archives: Disabled and meta robots noindex
Tags For Others:
This option has sitewide meta settings
Subpages of archives: select noindex
Use meta keywords tag: Most of the search engines ignore meta keywords tag
Force noodp meta robots tag sitewide: Disabled
XML Sitemap Setting
Finally, go to the sitemap option in Yoast SEO and copy sitemap link and submit your sitemap to google search engine through webmaster tool. In addition, you can also submit this sitemap to all search engines by using this sitemap link. A sitemap is most important for a website search result. ThereFore send the sitemap to all search engines.
